Google PR5 in Four Weeks
Yes, you read correctly! The 100 Lists Web Directory has gone from a n/a to a Google PR5 in just four weeks. I registered the domain name only a month ago too.
I am pretty excited about this as you can imagine and I plan to blog my SEO tips and techniques to help you get your site to high page ranks as soon as I get a chance. The site submissions are increasing exponentially and not really giving me an opportunity to do so.
I can let you in on a couple of pointers to get you going, and I will elaborate on these at a later stage:
- The first pointer is to have good topic/subject for your site (bit of an obvious one)
- Submit your site to all relative categories in search engine friendly web directories
- Make good use of tags and descriptions throughout your site
- Make sure that your site is W3C standards compliant and that your CSS file validates too
These are the basic ones that you should keep in mind while developing and promoting your website. Stay tuned as I will explain more on each of these and many more!
