Site of the Month - August 2006
Congratulations to our August winner Visage MediSpa!
This is a soft design that really represents a beauty spa. There weren’t too many errors in this site’s standards validation; therefore I wanted to reward those that have put effort into the look and feel this time. The design is another important part of marketing and branding. If the site looks great, most would be inclined to read on.
The prize for this month is a $3 addition to their listing and a mention in the newsletter! Small prizes yes, but every little bit helps…

Thank you for all the nice compliments. I’m am very pleased with the way the site came out. More importantly, so was my client! The on-site optimization alone brings in an average of 250 page loads a day. Not bad for a local medispa.

I know $3 is not a lot in the real world, but in the directory at the moment $3 will jump you to the front page of that category. Usually the front page has a higher ranking and more traffic. Who knows… as the directory gets more popular, I will increase the prize and hopefully find some sponsors too!
Anyone keen to sponsor prizes? Could be worth your while as the announcement goes out to thousands of people!
