Site of the Month - October 2006
Congrats to Nico on his site 43ads - it is October’s Site of the Month!
This site caught my attention as it is the that I have seen with this concept and both its XHTL and CSS validates.
For a little info on this site: there are basically 43 advertising spots on the main page of this site and it uses a bidding system to rank the sites. The interesting part about this while system is that if you get bumped to the 44th spot by other sites out bidding you, you receive a full refund PLUS the difference between your position on the one above you. This idea is very old. I saw a first mosaic structure site about 2 years ago, that was a boom! Its just a variation… Nevertheless still capturing…

I haven’t seen any sites like this before… ones that give you back your money when you are bumped of the list.
I noticed that the top position’s link is first in the list in the code and second is second and so on… Nico has also added title and alt tags to increase the value of the link. Just some SEO factors…
