Submitting To A Website Directory

If there was just one tip that I could give you for submitting your site to website directories, it would be this one: Make yourself a text file to store all the details of the site that you are submitting.

Create a new .txt file somewhere on your pc and name it something like mysite.txt (I called mine the100lists.txt). This way, you don’t have to continually retype all the details into each submission form. I actually have a number of sites in my text file and it assists tremendously.

Your text file should consist of your title, URL, description, keywords and email address.

I have noticed that many people submit their details to directory and some of the information is incorrect, i.e. the website address. In most cases I can see the error and correct it, but sometimes this is not possible and that site does not get listed. Using a text file with all your details will speed your submission time up and minimise the number of errors that you may enter.
